My Etsy Finds for November 4th- The Neverending Story Inspired items

One of my all time favorite children's book is The Neverending Story. I always identified with Bastian. I was the geeky girl who was bullied and wanted nothing more than to be left alone with my books. I was a daydreamer with my head always in the clouds. I always felt like I was living out the stories I read. The Neverending Story was first written in German by Michael Ende. It was first published in 1979 and the English translation was published in 1983. It was made into a very successful movie in the 80's (which is where most people know the story from). There were two more movies the second one loosely based on the second part of the book. The third movie used characters from the book but was not based on anything in the actual book itself.

Thanks for including my fibrous Falcor! I haven't read the book, but I love the movie!!

The movie is fairly faithful to the book but it ends at about midpoint in the book. But still I adore both the movie and the book. They both hold a special place in my heart.
